Satdharma is the name chosen by Vajra Regent Ösel Tendzin for our organization. Meaning genuine dharma, it exists to propagate the unique transmission of the Karma Kagyü lineage given by the Vidyadhara, Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche to the Vajra Regent, and then conferred upon the current lineage holder, Patrick Sweeney Trimé Lhawang.

Mr. Sweeney resides in Ojai, California and teaches primarily at the Ojai Valley Dharma Center, and the Pullahari Retreat Center in Cayucos, California. Satdharma offers ongoing teachings in the two main lineage streams transmitted by the Vidyadhara: The three-yana Buddhist path, and the Shambhala path of Enlightened Warriorship.

The Vajra Regent Ösel Tendzin Library & Archives announces its 2009 Campaign for new publications.

Satdharma is pleased to announce that under the direction of Lady Lila Rich, the Vajra Regent Ösel Tendzin Library & Archives has embarked on a major archiving and multi-media publishing project. As the wife of the Vajra Regent, and a close student of the Vidyadhara Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche, Lady Rich is a unique and valuable resource. She has been active in the work of the Library & Archives since its founding, and now takes on an expanded role in directly accomplishing this important goal.

Lady Rich extends a warm invitation to visit the project via three new websites. “I invite everyone to visit the Library - actually or virtually - to enhance your dharma practice and understanding through studying the Vajra Regent’s teachings and to participate with our Library and Archives team in securing this inheritance for the students of the future.” To read more, click here.
