Satdharma Press is happy to announce the publication of the first book of poetry by the Vajra Regent Ösel Tendzin.

The poetry of the Vajra Regent provides a perspective on one of the least understood aspects of spiritual life: the unique and ancient relationship of a devoted student to a genuine teacher. In these verses, devotion, clarity, surrender, and compassion are expressed at different moments of the Vajra Regent’s path, first as the principal student and dharma heir of the Vidyadhara Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche, and then as a teacher in his own right. These poems illustrate the direct, natural, challenging, and playful process of transforming confusion into the awakened state.
