Satdharma is pleased to announce that under the direction of Lady Lila Rich, the Vajra Regent Ösel Tendzin Library & Archives has embarked on a major archiving and multi-media publishing project. As the wife of the Vajra Regent, and a close student of the Vidyadhara Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche, Lady Rich is a unique and valuable resource. She has been active in the work of the Library & Archives since its founding, and now takes on an expanded role in directly accomplishing this important goal. Satdharma Community Gathering
With the Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche and Mr. Patrick Sweeney
In an historic gathering on May 29, 2005, the Satdharma Community welcomed and honored Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche and Mr. Richard Reoch, the President of Shambhala.
Amidst an air of joy and friendship, Mr. Reoch read a Letter of Agreement that details a new rapprochement between the leadership of the Shambhala and Satdharma Mandalas. Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche and Patrick Sweeney made ceremonial offerings to the lineage and each other. The gathering was concluded with a reception at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Sweeney.

Patrick Sweeney teaches at the San Francisco Shambhala Center
The weekend of November 3rd, 2006, Patrick Sweeney was graciously hosted by the Shambhala Center of San Francisco. He taught on the text Space, Time and Energy by the Vajra Regent Ösel Tendzin. This was the first time that Mr. Sweeney had been formally invited to teach at a Shambhala Center, and everyone involved felt the openness, warmth and generosity that pervaded the teaching environment. |

Patrick Sweeney and Lady Lila Rich address gathering at Shambhala Mountain Center
During the Rigden Abhisheka program in 2005, President of Shambhala, Richard Reoch, organized a gathering he called a "Meet and Greet" where people could interact with Patrick Sweeney and Lady Lila Rich. When over 250 people showed up, Mr. Sweeney and Lady Rich addressed the gathering, and a powerful discussion ensued. The transcript of that discussion is now available.
